Where’s Sarah Ferguson’s New House After Prince Andrew Scandal?

Sarah Ferguson‘s living plans are getting complicated. After her ex-husband Andrew Mountbatten Windsor was stripped of his royal titles, many people are wondering about her whereabouts after it was reported that they’re leaving their longtime residence.

Andrew and his ex-wife are set to leave their home of Royal Lodge, where they have lived together since 2008, despite being separated. According to the BBC, Ferguson “will make her own living arrangements,” and “it’s believed she won’t be moving to Sandringham in Norfolk with Andrew.” However, there have been no reports about where she will be moving, other than it won’t be close to Andrew.

However, some royal sources say that Fergie still wants the royal treatment. “Sarah genuinely believes she’s entitled to live out her days in a royal residence,” an insider told RadarOnline. “She’s never stopped measuring herself against Diana. In her mind, she got a raw deal in the divorce and has spent years feeling punished for not being the one the public adored.”

Ferguson is allegedly lobbying to live in Prince William and Kate Middleton’s former residence Adelaide Cottage. However, her brother-in-law is hestitant. “The King’s facing mounting pressure to prove he’s serious about transparency,” said one courtier. “Sarah asking for another grace-and-favor home right now – when spending is under the microscope and Andrew’s behavior is being debated in Parliament – is incredibly badly timed.”

It also comes after Fergie’s grudge against Princess Diana. The former working royal says that the aftermath of her divorce from Andrew in 2008 was less than Charles & Diana’s. Diana was allowed to keep her apartments at Kensington Palace for life. “She’s often complained that her divorce payout was tiny compared with Diana’s,” said another source. “She’s convinced Diana was celebrated for leaving, while she’s been penalized for staying loyal. That resentment’s been simmering for years – and it’s driving this latest dispute.”

A source added, “She truly believes she’s been wronged ever since the Diana yearsBut as far as the Palace is concerned, Sarah’s run out of goodwill – and there are no more royal houses left for her to claim.”
