If you’re on the hunt for a fresh, modern luxury fragrance to see you through spring and summer, then this latest launch from Creed is definitely one to have on your radar. Creed Wild Vetiver feels like a confident, contemporary twist on a classic fresh fragrance, and if you love something uplifting with a slightly floral edge, this could be right up your street.
What is Creed Wild Vetiver?

Creed Wild Vetiver is a fresh, green, citrus-led fragrance with soft florals and a clean woody base. Despite the name, it’s less about smoky, rooty vetiver and more about a bright, wearable, contemporary freshness.
It’s definitely one of those fragrances you may start to reach for as Spring and Summer approaches.
Creed Wild Vetiver Notes
Top Notes: Bergamot, pink pepper, black pepper
Base Notes: Vetiver, soft woods, musky tones
Heart Notes: Rose, subtle fruity nuances (blackcurrant)
How Does Creed Wild Vetiver Smell?
The Opening
It starts with a burst of bright, green bergamot that feels incredibly fresh and energising. There’s a crispness to it that immediately gives that “clean skin” effect.
The addition of pink and black pepper is lovely. It adds a light sparkle and stops the citrus from feeling too sharp or predictable.
The Heart
As it settles, a soft floral note comes through, with rose taking centre stage. It’s fresh and airy rather than powdery, adding a gentle sweetness that makes the fragrance feel more rounded and wearable.
There’s also waft of blackcurrant that keeps everything juicy and prevents it from becoming too dry.
The Dry Down
The dry down is smooth, green and slightly woody. It has a hint of that green tea/verbena freshness that feels calm and polished. Interestingly, the vetiver is quite subtle. It adds structure and a touch of earthiness, but it never dominates the composition.
Performance & Longevity
I’d say that Creed Wild Vetiver is pretty long-lasting and I can still smell it on my skin at around the 6-hour mark. It is really fresh, clean and noticeable without being overpowering, and the bergamot note actually lingers for quite some time, which keeps the fragrance feeling bright throughout the wear.
Creed Wild Vetiver Review

I have to say, I think this is a really lovely release from Creed.
It takes a familiar citrus-fresh tried and tested formula and refines it into something that feels more modern and a little more unique. It’s bright, green, slightly floral and incredibly easy to wear.
I do think the name is slightly misleading. If you’re here for a bold vetiver moment, you won’t quite get that. But if you approach it as a fresh, citrus-floral with a soft woody base, it makes complete sense.
There’s also something very “expensive spa” about it. Clean, polished, and quietly luxurious, although that slightly soapy edge might not be for everyone. It’s definitely a unisex fragrance, although some may find it leans slightly feminine because of the rose. In fact, for guys, I think it’s the kind of scent that will get a lot of compliments precisely because it’s not overly macho or heavy.
Final Thoughts
I think Creed have done a great job with this. It feels current, versatile and genuinely enjoyable to wear. If you’re building your warm-weather fragrance wardrobe, this could be a very chic addition.
