Timeless Denim: The Slim Straight Jeans

I really believe that a slim straight jean is one of the most timeless, flattering, “works with almost anything” style jeans that look fantastic on everyone. This style of denim may not be the focal point of the outfit, but it also doesn’t take away or distract from a look, whether it’s dressed up or down.

The style of jeans I wear when I want to feel most like myself, but pulled together, is a slim straight jean, and I’ve gathered a list of a few of my personal favorites

Paige Stevie (ankle or 31”) – I really love both of these length options, depending on where you live (the climate) and the preferences of your personal style. These fit like a glove, run true to size, and flatter your bum.

Pistola Bri High Rise Slim Straight– these run a touch small but are a very nice slim straight! I love the wash options with this style!

AYR The Bud – these are the newest to my line up, and I really love them! I opted for one size up from my typical size for an easy fit, and I’m glad I did. AYR denim runs small. The Legend style denim from this brand is a beautiful option as well, but it works best on more straight figures versus someone with curves.

Levi’s 501 Jeans in Hollow Days – pay attention to the wash when you’re shopping for Levi’s. There can be quite a change from wash to wash, and even if they have the same style name, they can fit differently. I love the wash of the 501’s in hollow days, they fit perfectly and definitely flatter your bum!

J.Crew Factory Essential Straight Jean in All Day Stretch – if you prefer a stretchy, soft denim look no further than J.Crew Factory. I love the comfort of their jeans, and sometimes would recommend sizing down if between sizes!
