Cameo Colours Lacquer – Polish Pick Up March 2021
Cameo Colours Lacquer – Hummin’ Bee
Hummin’ Bee can be described as a slightly greyed white crelly with scattered holo sparkle, aqua/indigo shimmer, blue-violet-copper and violet-pink-gold UCC flakes, plus holo micro flakes. Words cannot described how excited I was to realize this was a crelly. A white crelly at that. Oh my, the flashbacks to my earlier years first getting into the indie polish community hit me hard. Such a throwback. The combination in this one is also here to rock some socks with its flakes and shimmer. The subtle aqua shimmer really brings such depth along with the flake colors bouncing off each other. It’s all around gorgeous and absolutely glows against my skin-tone.
The formula has a very sheer application that requires some layering in order to achieve full opacity. It does end-up achieving great coverage and I had no visible nail line whatsoever. The consistency felt well balanced throughout the application as well, not too thick or too thin. As a crelly, the polish is packed with flakes and glitters that apply with ease. I had no clumping and all the flakes felt like they spread out well naturally as I layered the coats. The finish does dry down to a minimal gritty finish that smoothes out perfectly after topcoat. Shown here in three coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.
Like I mentioned before, it has been a long time since I have worn a crelly and I am so pumped about this one. Don’t hesitate if this one catches your eye! And of course be sure to check out more of Cameo Colours Lacquer, all links to social media are listed below.
