The Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Light Wand Gives the Prettiest, Glowiest Flush—Review
If I’m going to wear makeup, there must be blush. That wasn’t always the case, but over the last couple of years—thanks to so many new formats on the market (gels, creams, liquids, powders, sticks)—it’s been almost impossible not to fall in love with blush. And now, my makeup look just isn’t complete without it.
I’ve tried, well, pretty much all of the different iterations (perks of being a beauty director!), and while I love cream-based formulas, I always seem to come back to liquid options. It’s just what seems to work best for my skin, my routine, and my overall vibe.
Right now, my go-to is the Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Light Wand. While it’s technically more of a gel than a liquid, I find that it applies similarly and offers potent pigment payoff with just a tiny bit of product. Plus, it can be built up and blends beautifully into skin. I also love its cushion-sponge applicator because it’s so easy to use—twist open the tube, squeeze to dispense, and then dab directly onto cheekbones using the cushion-covered applicator head.
While I like to tap with my fingers to lightly diffuse, you can also use a tapered brush to blend (in an upward direction toward the temples) to create a natural, lifted look. The result? A gorgeous natural flush with a whole lot of luminosity.
My favorite shade is the rosy Glowgasm Beauty Light Wand in Pinkgasm because it pairs perfectly with almost any look, but I’ve tried them all, and they’re all so good—you can’t go wrong! (In the November Beauty Box, you could choose between rose gold Pillow Talk Original, shimmery champagne Hollywood Beauty Light Wand in Spotlight, or rosy Glowgasm Beauty Light Wand in Pinkgasm.)
You can find the Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Light Wand, along with other editor-loved products, in the November Allure Beauty Box.
